Our team supported leading medical negligence lawyers Hodge Jones & Allen as they worked to upgrade the Essex Mental Health inquiry from independent to statutory status – legally compelling all relevant witnesses to give evidence, helping families get the answers they deserved. 

Hodge Jones & Allen was involved in over 50 inquiries into medical negligence-related deaths on NHS mental health wards in Essex. To promote the vital work Hodge Jones & Allen did to help victims, Yellow Jersey PR secured significant coverage across the national papers and broadcast media, as well as local press. Following years of campaigning, the Inquiry was upgraded to statutory status in October 2023. The Lampard Inquiry will investigate the deaths of over 2000 individuals who died on NHS-run wards in Essex between 2000 and 2020.
