Prepare Angling Direct for life as a Plc, supporting its listing preparations and building the brand in aftermarket.
Angling Direct is the UK’s leading fishing equipment retailer and a highly valued brand amongst the angling community. The Company’s established online sales platform and logistics infrastructure means it is several steps ahead of the competition, which is core to the investment case. Its intention to float was placed in the Times with further coverage appearing in the Sun, Evening Standard, Daily Mail and City AM on admission.
Since listing, investor publications have published supportive articles on the Company’s growth prospects and an interview with the Chairman has appeared in the Sunday Times.

Yellow Jersey was asked to raise awareness and increase media exposure of Avacta’s collaboration to develop COVID-19 rapid tests.
Leveraging existing journalist relationships, Yellow Jersey arranged generated coverage in daily national papers (such as the Times and the Daily Mail, regional and trade press (the likes of Yorkshire Post, the Pharma Issue), and broadcast hits which included a 1-on-1 interview with Sky News and a panel discussion on Good Morning Britain.
An interview with TalkRadio was secured on the back of the Sky News opportunity and calls were also arranged with the likes of Bloomberg and Alliance News, while Shares Magazine tipped Avacta as a “Stock to buy”. Shares were up 118.54% on the day of the announcement and have since hit two-year highs.

To raise the profile of HJA‘s many legal departments – to showcase specialisms and expertise, bang the drum for both HJA and their clients, and insert HJA into the most pressing social conversations of the UK agenda.
Yellow Jersey undertook PR work for the teams working on Criminal Law, Social Housing and Property Disputes, Employment Law, Family Law, Medical Negligence, Industrial Diseases, Civil Liberties, Personal Injury, Wills & Probate and Financial Crime. The remit was broad, but with a focus on reaching the national UK newspapers with the human interest stories and social justice cases that HJA specialises in.
Yellow Jersey generated an average of 300 pieces of coverage per month across the HJA legal teams. This included every UK national newspaper, from the i, to The Guardian, to The Times, to the Financial Times. Cases are being brought to light by Yellow Jersey which previously didn’t have a platform for HJA – such as Asbestos and Mesothelioma cases being profiled in local newspapers.
HJA remains at the heart of the media conversation regarding COVID-19 in relation to Employment, Housing, Crime and Family issues. We reached broadcast as well as print media – with HJA lawyers featuring on BBC radio, BBC TV and BBC Instagram. Yellow Jersey also reached newswires such as PA Media – those with extensive syndication potential and global reach, which provides a platform for us to sometimes quadruple HJA’s presence.

To secure widespread coverage for Escape Hunt across UK media, building brand awareness, and the establish journalist relationships for Escape Hunt’s management.
Yellow Jersey prepared for the campaign launch by providing expert opinion on the announcement’s messaging to best pitch the story to the media. Initial task was to use their BBC/Dr Who campaign/RNS to reaffirm the underlying strategy and investment opportunity of the company. It was agreed that picture stories focusing across the national and regional media would hit the mark.
Over two working days over 20 interviews were set up and, as a result, Yellow Jersey secured written coverage for Escape Hunt in every major channel and publication. In conjunction with our media work, we managed inbound investor enquires and have now set the path for a long term following.

Having helped the Company develop its investor relations collateral in the build up to its re-listing at the start of 2019, Yellow Jersey has gone on to help Ocean raise its profile as a leading operator of premium Digital Out-Of-Home advertising assets. Prominent media coverage has been achieved on the back of performance updates, contract wins and M&A, with the Company completing two major acquisitions in the Netherlands in a matter of weeks following its relisting. Within six months of appointment, Yellow Jersey has substantially increased AFH’s media coverage across the UK business and investment press including supportive articles of AFH’s value proposition and growth prospects in the Financial Times and Mail on Sunday. To position Aura to gain maximum market traction on its London listing and provide media relations support in the aftermarket.
Against a difficult environment for miners, ASX listed uranium developer Aura Energy came to us with an intention to dual-list in London.
In addition to working closely with Aura to develop its corporate and investment narrative, we successfully secured widespread positive press coverage: The Sunday Times, The Daily Telegraph, The Daily Mail, London Evening Standard, City A.M., to name a few. Aura successfully listed, raising approximately £2.7m and the share price more than doubled on its first day of dealings, closing up 115%.
We now support Aura in the aftermarket as it looks to build itself into a cash-generative uranium producer in the near to mid-term.

Within the first eight weeks, we had established a clear communications plan for the company which was executed around key calendar events resulting in the Michelmersh name becoming synonymous with ‘best of British’.

Following a successful reverse takeover of Concepta Diagnostics by Frontier Resources International in July 2016, Concepta Plc listed on AIM. The company is a UK-based women’s healthcare business, focused on helping women with unexplained infertility to conceive.
Through a mixture of IPO advisory, investor relations and media campaigning, we successfully positioned the brand within the business and healthcare communities. Driven by a comprehensive communications campaign we have been able to tap into new investor and customer markets and push this new dynamic brand to the forefront of the healthcare market.

The initial brief to deliver a successful AIM IPO was altered when the Company changed course to aim for a private trade sale. The brief was to provide strategic communications advice and raise the profile of the business as the deal process was made public.
Yellow Jersey has been side by side with Catalis as strategic counsel and communications strategists, preparing the Company’s internal comms video to announce the deal to global staff, stifling a press leak of the deal in the Sunday Times and placing the story on the day of announcement as the lead picture story in the business section of the Evening Standard.
Yellow Jersey is now supporting the Company filling its trade PR requirements, in order to raise the profile of the business and its CEO Dominic Wheatley.

To aid the growth of Israeli start-up COTI by securing media coverage and developing its brand awareness. Highlighting experience of the team and their background from Investec plc, BlackRock, IBM and Goldman Sachs. Building a long multi-tiered PR campaign that saw the company journeyed from conception through to multiple Token Sales, aftermarket and product launches.
Yellow Jersey worked with COTI to develop their brand name and present their activity and partnerships as thought leadership, media interviews and news releases. We introduced COTI to the crypto and financial media, developing stories to suit the interests of individual journalists. This resulted in interviews for publications including Forbes, Euromoney, Inc., TechCrunch, Nasdaq and Coinspeaker. This placed them firmly into the relevant media as the revolutionary blockchain 3.0 global payments network, and resulted in representatives of the team attending and securing interviews at high-profile global conferences, such as the Malta Blockchain Summit.
